The services of the Outreach Committee shall be provided on a 1:1 basis
- It is recognized that each person’s questions or concerns are individual and unique.
- It is also recognized that a person’s specific needs will often require a response within a specific timeframe.
- Therefore, Outreach services shall be provided through an initiative that pairs a person(s) seeking Outreach services with a member of the Congregation who has volunteered and been trained to be an Outreach Sponsor.
Referrals to Outreach Sponsors will be made by the Rabbis, the Director of Education, the Temple Administrator, and the President and Vice Presidents of the Congregation or the Committee Chairs. Referrals can be made as theses individuals become aware of a person or family who may benefit from and who requests a form of Outreach service when informed that it is available. Additionally, temple members or persons associated with temple members may self-refer and request services by contacting the Outreach Chair.
The Outreach Committee shall operate in collaboration with the Membership Committee
with co-chairs responsible for each separate focus and related services
