One of the perks of membership in Congregation Etz Chaim is having access to the Jeremy Bruder Library. This inviting room welcomes you to study, work, read, and relax amid its collection of approximately 4500 books, DVDs and other materials all connected to Judaism. While our community school and public libraries offer selections of Jewish-themed materials, our congregational library is dedicated to having nothing but Jewish holiday, history, cookbooks, other informational works, and recreational reading and music. Our collection also includes a lively and large selection of picture books for our youngest “people of the book." Perhaps you’ve been eyeing such recent bestsellers as Daniel Silva’s Moscow Rules at the bookstore or maybe you’re on a waiting list for the book at your public library. Try the Jeremy Bruder Library, and if this newest title is already checked out, you have time to check out Silva’s previous adventures of the popular Israeli sleuth Gabriel Allon.
The library is staffed during religious hours on Sundays and Wednesdays, but it is always open if the building is open. Come check it out!
All materials are purchased through donations to the Robert N. Glass Memorial Library Fund.
