President: Gary Pollyea
The Brotherhood is Congregation Etz Chaim’s men’s club. Our mission is to provide service to the congregation and develop to Brotherhood (friendship, camaraderie, fellowship, and support) among our members.
The Brotherhood services the congregation thru activities such as ushering at High Holiday services, constructing and deconstructing the Sukkah, putting on the BBQ (at the begining and end-of-school-year), organizing fundraisers, and making financial donations to the congregation as needed.
We sponsor and conduct annual events including Trivia Night, Whirly Ball, Family Fishing Day, "Ask the Rabbi", Bears/Cubs/Blackhawks watch parties, and informative presentations from our members. The Brotherhood meets once a month, usually on Sunday mornings at 9:30am, although some events/activities are held offsite at various days/times. For Sunday morning activities, we always start with lox, bagels, coffee and time for "schmoozing" with fellow members.
Brotherhood is a great way for new and current members to connect, get to know each other, and get involved in Etz Chaim. Please come and join us and see what we are all about. The Brotherhood calendar can be found below.
