The Brotherhood Presents - a presentation by Michael Stoller
Date: Sunday Dec 3rd
Location: Etz Chaim - Lower Level
Exploring Emotional Sobriety
When most people think of the word sobriety, they immediately associate it with sobriety from alcohol. Others might think of sobriety from other addictions like drugs, food, gambling or sex. However, once someone is sober-meaning they do not drink or do drugs anymore, the real work begins. This presentation is not for addicts (even though I believe we are all addicted to some extent).
In this presentation, Michael will address:
1. The definition of Emotional Sobriety
2. Explore how Emotionally Sober you really are
3. Provide practical spiritual strategies on how to increase your Emotional Sobriety
Michael is a Licensed Clinical Social Work and has been in private practice for the last 15+ years. Michael has done several presentations over the years at Etz Chaim, and if you have not had an opportunity to attend, please consider coming to this one. Michael’s presentations are very interactive, informative, and fun. This event is open to the entire congregation. We hope you can make it.
