We are celebrating 2 years of partnership with the Niagara Foundation and Rana Yurtserver, and we are proud to introduce their Abraham’s Tent Interfaith Dinners, an initiative to provide space for people of differing religious and cultural traditions to get to know one another in the cozy intimacy of each other’s homes.  We have a few Etz Chaim members who have already offered to host a dinner in their homes, and we are looking for more.  There is also the opportunity to participate when others have offered to host.  Additional details specific to our members to come. https://www.niagarafoundation.org/mirror/interfaith-engagement/abrahams-tent/abrahams-tent-illinois/

Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom - chavurah for Jewish and Muslim women is expanding in the Chicago area, and there are already some developed chapters that need more Jewish women - if you are interested in joining a chapter to build bridges and fight prejudice in your own community, please email [email protected] to be assigned to a local chapter and get on the mailing list for other events.  Many Etz Chaim members have already joined and are enjoying this experience tremendously!
