Ask Jewish people if there are Jews who believe in heaven and hell, and many will respond with all sorts of answers, ranging from “yes there’s a heaven” to “No, Jews don’t believe in hell.” But this is not the whole truth. Of course, Judaism believes we should be focused on the here and now, on living life, and that what happens later will take care of itself. But, Judaism has a rich tradition of varying beliefs in the afterlife. Of course, we don’t have an official party line, but we do have many opinions!
If you desire to learn more about what Judaism believes about the Afterlife, come and join Rabbi Cosnowsky for a lively lecture/discussion, as she expands upon her lectures from last year.
We will meet every Friday in November except November 23rd at 12:00 PM. Bring a lunch or go out to eat afterwards with your friends.
