Robert's life was cut short for what might have been, for joys unrealized, for tasks undone, and for challenges unmet.
At the age of 5, Robert was an accomplished swimmer and diver and loved rock and roll music. He was an eager little 5 year old awaiting the joys of kindergarten and Etz Chaim Sunday School.
He, and his older brother, Michael, then 7, played very well together and were the best of friends.
The Robert Scott Samuels Fund was established so that others could enjoy what he couldn't. It offers scholarships to Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute Camp or CFTY Leadership Training.
